About Nissan R91CP

The Nissan R91CP is Nissan’s first 100% in-house produced Group C car.

In the 1991 JSPC (Japan Sports Prototype Championship), the car driven by Kazuyoshi Hoshino and Toshio Suzuki(car #23) achieved 3 wins out of 7 races, securing both the Driver's Championship (Kazuyoshi Hoshino) and the Manufacturer's Championship.

Group C was a racing category in the FIA Sportscar World Championship from 1982 to 1993, focused on high-performance prototype cars designed for endurance races like the 24 Hours of Le Mans. These cars featured powerful turbocharged engines, aerodynamic designs, and lightweight materials, with strict regulations on fuel efficiency and weight to ensure competitive balance. Iconic cars from manufacturers like Porsche (956/962), Jaguar (XJR), Mazda (787B, winner of Le Mans 1991), and Nissan (R91CP) became synonymous with the series, showcasing cutting-edge technology and thrilling performances. The Group C era ended in 1993 due to rising costs and safety concerns, but its legacy lives on in modern LMP and Hypercar classes, continuing to influence endurance racing today.

This kit is meticulously crafted based on extensive real-life research, faithfully replicating the car’s flowing body lines and cockpit details.

The body parts come in white, with additional accessories such as a stainless steel antenna rod and window masking stickers.
